Samba Junior

Guineaw / Afro-pastoral

Samba Junior is a Guinean singer whose Afro-pastoral style brings traditional melodies into dialogue with modern production. Songs including Wowlan Selalan and Dogatama helped introduce his musical identity to a wider audience. He headlined Univers Culture’s Samba Junior Live in NYC concert at Amazura on July 4, 2026. He returned to the same venue as a guest during the August 1 event featuring Wandjan Dimedi and Aïcha Kindia.
