THE EXPERIENCE

Habib Fatako · Maxim BK

On June 27, 2025, Univers Culture brought Habib Fatako and Maxim BK to New York for the first edition of La Nuit de la Fierté Guinéenne. The concert placed pastoral music and Guinean rap on the same stage, bringing together different generations of the diaspora around their shared cultural heritage. Guinea’s Ministry of Culture subsequently received the organizing team and recognized the initiative. This concert is separate from the June 29 showcase at Coco La Reve.
